New Terracotta is located in Central Portugal . This country has a rich tradition with glazing tiles, the famous azulejos. The handmade tiles are made in a factory on a human scale. No large industrial scale with large runs.

The New Terracotta tiles are first formed by hand from local natural clay.Afterwards, a glaze is applied and the tile is fired in a kiln.The precise method is based on the time-honored tradition of Portuguese azulejos and is more secret than Coca Cola's recipe.

You can choose from more than 142 dazzling glazes made by artisans in Portugal. These range from subtle, bright and semi-transparabe to deep and metallic colors. Each has a historical and artistic background.

Just about everywhere. They love wet areas such as shower, bathroom or kitchen. You can also use them on the floor or for an outdoor application (some colours excepted).

After we have made a quote based on the number of square meters, you pay an advance of 50%, then we put our craftsmen to work at the factory.The tiles are delivered directly to your door.

Tiles are delivered at your address by an external transport company.They are carefully protected to avoid damage during transport.

Clay is a natural product extracted from the factory's garden.New Terracotta pays great attention to the well-being of its employees and the environment.
