Dalle d'usine
The “dalle d'usine” is a 24x14 tile of 3-4 cm thickness that was used in factory halls in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It is a tile made of pressed stoneware (grès) in variegated yellow and beige colors. Because of its thickness, this tile was particularly strong and withstood the pressure of heavy machinery. Today, new "dalle d'usine" are no longer commercially available. At David and Goliath we can have them made to order for larger quantities. However, we have alternatives in non-standard sizes.
